Well, if the gods are good and Theresa May is out of a job this week, then she can get a job in Afghanistan where there is no need for human rights…
That aside, this torture occurs very often within the purview of American and NATO forces. There are over 10,000 US and NATO forces there training and advising Afghan military and police forces. The term “partnering” is used consistently and it is not used lightly. Anyone who tells you that US and NATO forces are not complicit in this torture, in some manner or to some degree, is either ignorant on the reality of how training partnerships work or is lying.
